Following the unveiling of the stunning laceless Ace 16+ Purecontrol last week, adidas have shown the world yet another step in the revolution of control. The Ace 16.1 Primeknit combines the best of both worlds: Ace control and Primeknit comfort.
The Ace cleats now have a 100% Primeknit upper meaning that players can touch the ball with enhanced feeling and comfort. The 3D knit structure delivers unparalleled fit and grip; some knit zones allow the cleat to adapt to the player’s feet with the use of a specifically engineered mix of loose and tight knits.
The internal support system has been completely revamped, and now extends to the ankle for a sock-like fit that enhances the connection between foot and cleat. Furthermore, the sprint frame construction enhance balance and control, and a enlarged heel pocket brings comfort to the next level.
The launch colorway of the Ace 16.1 Primeknit features an eye-catching combination of Solar Green, Shock Pink and Black to stand out on all the fields all over the world.
“We’re the leaders in football innovation for a reason and that’s easy to see in the Ace 16.1 Primeknit. We’ve created a boot unlike anything else on the market, a boot that offers unrivalled comfort, support and a new expression of the adidas design DNA,” says Sam Handy, Vice President of Design for adidas Soccer, “Following the release of the laceless Ace 16+ Purecontrol it was important for us to add something different to the ACE family and with Ace 16.1 Primeknit we’ll be improving the performance of footballers everywhere.”
