The 2014 World Cup kicks-off in 1 month and adidas is ready to battle in Brazil to be the king of cleats this summer.
adidas revealed the Battle Pack collection that will have a unique and ‘disruptive black and white pattern’ for each of the 5 silos, Lionel Messi’s signature adizero F50, the Predator, Nitrocharge, 11Pro and adizero F50, in the collection and that will be worn by all their top players this summer.
Argentina’s Messi, Germany’s Mesut Özil and Philipp Lahm, Brazil’s Dani Alves, Luis Suarez, and Oscar, France’s Karim Benzema, Spain’s Javi Martinez and the USA’s Jozy Altidore are all confirmed to be wearing the Battle Pack colorway this summer.
“The black and white design is unlike anything I’ve seen on the field,” said US forward Jozy Altidore. “Wearing the same collection as every other adidas athlete at the World Cup makes me part of something bigger.”
The collection is inspired by the war paint of native warriors. Gold is included in the color combinations to represent the World Cup Trophy.
The Battle Pack will make its on-field debut in the Champions League Final in Lisbon on May 24.
