adidas have started off 2015 on the offensive with the launch of its bold new Haters pack.
Featuring new colourways for the adiPure 11Pro, Predator Instinct and Nitrocharge, as well as a brand new adiZero F50, this latest pack is all about the players that everyone loves to hate. At the forefront of this new pack is the #ThereWillBeHaters film starring Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez, Luis Suarez and Karim Benzema.
Alongside a whole host of others, all four of these ‘hated’ players have begun the switch into these brand new boots – the most notable of which is the new look adiZero. Coming in a bold new Solar Red/White/Core Black colourway, this latest adiZero is packed full of brand new technology with a focus on speed and manoeuvrability.
A one-piece Hybridtouch upper is made especially special with a never before seen 3D Dribbletex layer on top to allow for better dribbling regardless of the weather conditions. It is the Dribbletex in particular that contributes to the new scale-like look and feel of the brand new adiZero.
Elsewhere the changes keep on coming. The outsole has been drastically overhauled, with another new grip texture, a changed stud configuration – notably a three-stud heel – and a second level of traction on the forefoot base, inspired by sprint spikes.
Design wise the Three Stripes have been relegated to only the tongue and heel, as adidas adopt a “less-is-more” stance in regard to branding – for us personally, it works an absolute treat.
The new adiPure 11Pro colourway is the third its received since the boot received an equally big upheavel, refocusing it on comfort, fit and touch. A super classy White/Black/Solar Blue affair that adiPure fans will surely be proud of, the 11Pro represents the coming together of heritage and ground-breaking new technology.
The heritage comes in the form of the super soft Kangaroo leather upper, offering a snug fit and a great touch, while the ground breaking new technology is represented in the brand new support skeleton that wraps the boot around your foot, ensuring no energy is wasted.
The Predator Instinct has been given a bold re-up, as we saw on the feet of Holger Badstuber and David Alaba, with this new Solar Red/Night Flash colourway. Definitely not one for the faint of heart, it nonetheless epitomizes the #therewillbehaters slogan that adidas have adopted for these releases.
A Hybridtouch upper, along with the now synonymous rubber zones providing for great touch and accuracy come together to make this the best Predator we have seen in a long while.
Finally the adidas Nitrocharge has been given an Amazon Purple/White/Solar Blue Haters Pack makeover. One for the box-to-box everywhere midfielder, the big feature of the NitroCharge is the energy-sling. Designed to create a greater lockdown on the foot, it ensures that no energy is lost between foot and shoe. The sixth colourway for the Nitrocharge, and definitely one of its better ones.
An exciting, all guns blazing, start to the year for adidas – we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for 2015.
