It’s been just a few days since adidas showed us the newest revolutions of control: Ace 16 Primeknit and Ace 16+ Purecontrol. The revolutionary Primeknit technology joined forces with the best from the Ace 15 and resulted in the perfect shoes to control the game. Ace 16+ Purecontrol are the first elite cleats without laces, becoming ideal to boss the game. Now, a new colorway has been revealed for both of them, one that the more traditional fans will surely like a lot, core black.
adidas Ace 16 Primeknit
A 100% Primeknit upper with 3D knit structure delivers ultimate comfort and ball control, while the internal support system has been totally revamped to reach up to the ankle enhancing the connection between foot and cleat. The new colorway has core black as main feature, using shock pink and solar green are used to make the three stripes stand out with a gradient effect that starts with the laces.

adidas Ace 16+ Purecontrol
The laceless solution minimizes the impact of laces at the moment of touching the ball, taking things a step closer to barefoot kicking. A TPU cage wraps around the midfoot, while the Primeknit-based upper delivers comfort and a internal techfit locking system keeps the cleat locked to the foot. Without laces, these shoes will have less green and more black on the upper, just the iconic three stripes will be solar green, while a few details will feature shock pink. The sole plate will hace a translucent effect to create a eye-catching look.
